Maintenance Engineer - Civil
Job Purpose and Scope:
To manage maintenance for a portfolio of properties in a cost effective and timely manner
Job Responsibilities:
• Performs regular engineering and maintenance duties in response to customer requirements and as directed by higher management.
• Will be exposed to working in outdoor conditions
• Prepare detailed inspection reports of all properties to identify regular and ad hoc maintenance and upgrade requirements
• Records concerns and progress for reporting to senior staff.
• Prepare basic drafts of plans, specifications and cost estimates.
• Oversee and perform all building facilities Maintenance activities
• Overlook at the progress of the Planned Preventive Maintenance –PPM-, ensuring Maintenance work is carried out properly at all properties
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, contingency plans, emergency response procedures, preventive maintenance programs and all technical documentation.
• Follow up with all service providers, ensuring their proper reporting system as per scope of work related to contract clauses
• Assist in building hand over procedure including carry out snagging as per authorities’ rules and regulations
• Work closely with leasing department to assist in solving any complaints, using Engineering techniques to ensure the satisfaction of our end-users
• Supervising technical staff
• Ability to work under pressure, and responds to any emergency calls
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety legislation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
