Description:
Brief Description
To assist the MTSM Manager in the maintenance and augmentation of Facilities, equipment, vehicle and tanks at all company locations and customer sites including CNG, LPG AMC activitiesand related Product technical issues like specifications etc.
Principal Accountabilities
Maintenance
·Ensures that scheduled preventive maintenance of tanks, vehicles, piping and equipment including safety equipment are carried out at all company locations as well as customer premises.
·Carries out regular inspection and periodic re-qualification of mobile and stationary pressure vessels.
·Carry out break down analysis for repetitive break downs and develops preventive solutions.
·Liaise with suppliers/ fabricators/ mechanic workshops & Supervises service jobs carried out by third parties on vehicles, equipments etc where ever required.
·Provides technical support to maintenance team
·Imparts relevant on the job training to the maintenance crew on maintenance of equipment and filling operators on handling & operating of equipments.
·Co-ordinates with other location for troubleshoot and break down maintenance on equipment.
·Originates MOC’s [Method of Change] for installation of new equipment, modification on existing equipments to suit our QEHS requirement etc.
·Maintain all documentation (related to equipment maintenance) as per IMS requirement
·Liaise with the bulk customers, to plan and carry out Tank maintenance/ replacement jobs at customer site.
·Carries out modifications/improvements in production lines, trial runs for new systems etc.
·Generates method statements for all non routine jobs not covered by procedures.
·Provides input for technical specifications for maintenance spares.
·Carries out inspection of plant equipments
·Carries out technical evaluation ofplant and machinery buy outs/services
·Supervises execution and implementationof CAPEX works
·Develop estimates for CAPEX
·Development and updation maintenance manual for the terminal
·Generate ER for maintenance related CAPEX
·Implement and carryout Predictivemaintenance Strategies
·Carrying outbasicdesigncalculation and specificationfortendering purpose
·Monitor and reportReliability Index of the plant on a monthly basis
·Implement LEAN and other Organizational Excellence initiatives in maintenance function.
·Carry out Internal Audits as per Integrated management Requirements
Technical Services
Initiate changes in product Specifications based on feed stock and Customer requirement
Technical issues on LPG Ocean tanker loading operations
PDI andNew customer commissioningwhen ever required
Product development and evaluation
Hazop /PHA reviews
EHS
·Ensure all laid down EHS procedures are followed in job carried out by Emgas staff and by Contractors working at site.
·Ensure proper upkeep of equipments at all times
·Conducts routine checks on emergency system and take corrective action on noticed abnormalities.
·Knows the Company’s and Environment, Health & Safety Policy, Procedures, Regulations and Objectives as they relate to his/her area of responsibility and ensure that they are effectively implemented in his/her domain. Ensures by appropriate monitoring and review, the work under his control is performed in a safe and environmentally sound manner.
·Execute role as per EMGAS Emergency response Plan
Operating Environment, Framework and Boundaries
Based at the Jebel Ali plant, carries out maintenance and related activities at all the company locations, Customer premises and Repairer premises.
Communications and Working Relationships
Liaisons on technical maintenance issues with Customers, Consultants, LPG contractors and maintenance service contractors, effectively including attendingmeetings with customer /consultant on technical issues with a view to assist MTSM to give technical advice on maintenance issues.
Liaisons with Emgas employees on operation and maintenance of equipment.
Decision Making Authority and Responsibility
Supervises day to day function of maintenance personnel and responsible for reliability and health of equipments at all locations and customer sites with an objective ofensuring minimal interruptions in production and services within the frame work of the integrated management systems and approved Budget.
