Job Description :
• This role requires to plan, coordinate and supervise various activities related to vessels’ acceptance, arrival, departure, berthing and unberthing to arrange discharge of products. Liaising with Agents.
• Responsible for the accurate documentation of all UAE ports.
Key Responsibilities :
• Marketing and promotion of company business in the local market and around the world. Liaising with customers and agents and getting business for supply boat.
• Handling of all marine issues related to the vessel with regards to vessels operations, crew change etc.,
• Ensure the suitability of vessels’ tanks to load cargo on arrival.
• Communicates with Agents and Master to clarify, resolve and agree on tentative loading/discharge arrangements and de-ballasting /ballasting requirements for finalization upon arrival.
• Coordinates with laboratory for testing
• Inspect and ensure all working areas are safe and that port operatives engaged to carry out work have been properly trained and understand the strict health and safety rules that apply within port environments.
• Reviews and approves Competency Certificates of marine key personnel onboard hired vessels to ensure compliance with marine regulations and capability of performing the works efficiently and in a safe manner.
• Interviewing and recruiting of new personal.
• Reviews the Marine certificates of the vessels to ensure compliance with regulations and flag state rules.
• Have contacts with contractor and representatives to discuss issues related to vessel inspections, marine equipment and systems;
• Provide technical support for planning and coordinating the inspection requirement for vessel.
• Procurement of needed spare parts.
• Strong understanding of all customs and immigration procedures at ports of UAE.
• First point of contact for marine authorities and third parties for marine related questions and emergency preparedness
Requirements :
• Minimum 3 Years’ experience in relevant fields.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and representation skills.
• Computer skills
• Supervisory skills
• UAE driver’s license.
• Age: Min: 30 Max: 45
