Marketing Communications Manager

Lead the execution of Brand and Retail Marketing communications activities including strategic planning, development, and execution of all marketing communications activities including advertising, Digital, Mobile, PR, Social Media, Content Creation, CRM, Literature and Point of Sale initiatives.

Responsible for developing integrated and targeted marketing programmes to build the brands and create consumer demand and drive traffic to showrooms.

This role reports to the Brand Director and manages a team of communications, PR and Social Media personnel.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the brand and retail teams in the development of creative and media strategies, ensuring alignment with global communications strategies and consistency through all mediums
- Drive brand health insights down into all Marketing Communications plans and feed into 5 year brand plans
- Manage media team to create overall media strategy and media optimisation including SEO within the following mediums: digital, mobile, social media, TV, OOH, and print.
- Ensure all marketing/communications activities drive key marketing metrics, including: awareness, consideration, opinion and show-room traffic.
- Manage a team including: Communications Specialists, PR & Social Media Manager, Digital Marketing Manager and Digital Marketing Specialist. Development of annual objectives and long-term development plans for teams.
- Build and manage effective working relationships with Sales and CS, Global Suppliers and Central Operations
- Manage positive relationships with agency partners
- Act as brand manager to key business partners, including: internal business colleagues, partner agencies and external media/marketing partners
- Lead the creative and media agencies in the development and execution of all communication initiatives
- Develops on-going marketing strategies aimed at retaining current customers, as well as building awareness, consideration and opinion of the brand amongst prospective customers. Includes but is not limited to media deployment combined with creative development. Includes but is not limited to digital (web, mobile, social media), CRM, PR, Social Media as well as all above the line activities.
- Develop and direct retail communications strategies
- Leads development of annual agency scopes of work and agency performance management
- Adapts marketing strategies to retail-oriented applications. Goal is to drive traffic to retailer showrooms
- Develop and communicate advertising / marketing activities to retailers, internals (regional and market managers), manage Dealer/Retailer Panel
- Ensures that all parties are aware of the Global/Regional Brand and Corporate Retail marketing initiatives

Market Specific Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive MENA communications strategy and a communications plan to deliver the strategy
- Represent MENA Region 'voice of the market' and provide feedback to Global Marketing as required on creative strategy and creative assets to ensure relevance for MENA region
- Work with Global research team to ensure MENA markets are included in brand health research studies
- Interactive marketing
- Sponsorship Strategy

Requirements

- Background in Marketing
- Minimum 5 years Automotive or related experience in MENA region
- Experience of developing a strategic business & delivery plan
- Experience in communications agency management
- Highly motivated and able to work under their own initiative
- Possessing advanced communication and presentational skills
- Advanced management skills and negotiation skills
- Confident with exceptional networking, interpersonal and influencing skills
- Fluent spoken and written English (Arabic would be beneficial)
- Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- 10 years of above combined experience
- Degree in Business and/or Marketing (MBA preferred)
