YOOX NET A PORTER GROUP is seeking an exceptionally motivated and talented individual to fill the key role of Merchandise Planning in our newly established joint venture between YNAP and Mohamed Alabbar's Symphony Investments*. The new company will manage Net-a-Porter, Mr Porter, Yoox and The Outnet in the region, as well as online stores for fashion brands — an opportunity with significant potential in the Middle East. The joint venture will be headquartered in Dubai, and will serve the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman, with a view to expand to other countries in the Middle East and North Africa in the future. The Middle East is one of the fastest growing global centres for luxury retail and the joint venture has the ambitious goal to become the major platform for this market.
Role purpose:
The candidate will work within the Off-Season team and will be part of a growing team with the unique opportunity of making a decisive contribution to the business success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Merchandising analysis by category and product with the aim of understanding store trends
• Forecast sales
• Provide analysis with a proactive approach to support the decision making process of the commercial division
• Actively collaborate with all division teams (commercial, adv, merchandising, buying, retail planning) in order to build the most efficient season product strategy
• In partnership with our global teams, define and implement the local pricing strategy agreement
• Analyze and monitor inventory flow
• Manage catalogue seasonal switch and final sales from a Merchandise Planning point of view
