AFC MTO - Success Profile

Reporting to: AFC Manager

Division / Function: SDM/ATC&S;/AFC

Base location: SDM

Key purpose

The purpose of this position is to assist the AFC Manager in providing effective technical support to the line maintenance team responsible for all aspects of AFC, CCTV and Repairshop related engineering and maintenance works within the premises of Dubai Metro.

Based on the specific requirement of the role

Key accountabilities

Assist the AFC Manager in preparing the maintenance budgeting, managing and allocating resources to all aspect of technical support activities within the AFC section;

Assist the AFC Manager in overseeing all aspects of technical support activities pertaining to AFC section including engineering and maintenance work management, design modification, technical support, report generation;

Coordinate maintenance planning, scheduling and update work records through Maintenance Management System (MMS);

Assist maintenance teams working under AFC manager and provide support during spares/material transactions on MMS, record keeping and management;

Perform and carry out duties as instructed/ directed by the AFC Manager.

Essential technical and professional skills, knowledge and qualifications

Skills

Ability to perform data analysis, reporting, cost estimation is preferable

Ability to assist in writing procedures, specifications, method statements, risk assessments is preferable;

Possess good communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work productively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment;

Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, and the ability to handle multiple priorities;

Possess strong PC skills including proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point applications and ability to learn new software based applications like SAP, MMS;

Knowledge

Ideally a Degree holder or High diploma in any stream of education; Computers or Electronics Engineering discipline preferred

Certificate in MS-office, Computer networks or similar is desirable

Experience

Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in the assistant/administration role is preferable;
