Nanny/Assistant Teacher

We are looking for a Filipino Nanny/Assistant Teacher for our growing Nursery in JLT. The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a Nursery/Pre-School environment.

Position Overview:

The Nanny?s primary role is to support and aid the education of children in the nursery. The Nanny should work together with fellow colleagues to assure a good learning environment for the children.

Reports to: Teacher and the Management

Main Responsibilities:

1. Support and aid children with their learning, play, educational and social development.
2. Support and aid children with feeding, washing and cleaning when necessary. 
3. Participate in play duties. 
4. Motivate and stimulate the children's learning abilities using play activities.
5. Interact with the children, providing them with a secure environment to learn.
6. Assist with the development of the children's personal, social and emotional development. 
7. Support the development of children's basic skills, including communication and coordination.
8. Enhance the teaching and learning environment through visual aids and educational materials.
9. Assist in the planning and coordination of classes.
10. Maintain a clean and healthy environment throughout the nursery.

Main Duties:

1. To share responsibility for feeding children, changing the children?s clothes and nappies, and taking them to the toilet. 
2. Attend to children?s personal hygiene in a discreet and dignified manner. 
3. Ensure the health and safety of the children is maintained during all activities.
4. Work in cooperation with the class teacher sharing knowledge.
5. Participate in aspects of professional development.
6. Ensure a safe and stimulating learning environment.
