Operations Manager

Jotun Powder Coatings UAE, established in 1990, has developed its business with the focus to serve GCC markets over the years. We have a wide range of product portfolio to serve specific market needs. Our high quality products, combined with a history of innovations, have resulted in a strong position in the market. The factory has 7 production lines which produced more than 13,000 MT of powder in 2016. Today, the company has 150 committed and competent staff and a present total turnover of AED 218M. We are looking for an Operations Manager who will be able to achieve stretched and can make a difference to further improvement of the factory. The position reports directly to the General Manager and is based in Dubai, UAE.

Responsibility

• Ensure that Factory long term plans and activities are in line with company strategy
• Manage the day to day operations of the unit by directing, leading, advising, coaching and counseling direct reporting staff to ensure goals and objectives are met in accordance with pre-determined targets, KPIs and HSEQ management system
• Ensure that proper quality control systems and procedures are in place by monitoring and follow up in order that products supplied are in line with Jotun standards
• Improve productivity by having a professional predictive and preventive Maintenance system
• Take over-all responsibility for Production, Laboratory, Quality Control and Maintenance by regularly reviewing actions and plans in order to achieve targeted efficiency in operations
• Responsible for some elements according to HSEQ management system requirements

Qualifications Education level

• College / University, Bachelor's degree

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• 7-9 years experience in managerial role
