Oracle Techno Functional Support Consultant

The role is initially to assist the ESS and HCM teams, in collaboration with the ICT Department to implement further enhancements and automations to Transguard's Oracle HCM system. This should include but must not be limited to System / Business Analysis, Design, Build, Document, User Acceptance Testing, Training manuals and online help.

To provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in Oracle HCM processes especially ensure automation of processes to and from other internal and external software applications

Responsible for technical input inclusive of programming and any technical and functional requirements and assist in ESS and HCM business process re-engineering

Leading Conference Room Pilots (CRP's) to end-users, ensuring documentation of Test Scripts, User Acceptance Testing, Sign off, Training materials and Knowledge Transfer is completed.

To give guidance through various forms to the vast user community on the best use of existing functions and newly introduced functions.

Design and develop discoverer reports and develop and maintain customised forms and reports

Co-ordinate update and maintenance of the business critical master tables and system configuration database of the ERP system.

Design, development, building, testing and deployment of new or changes in configuration and/or custom extensions like Reports, Forms, Alerts, Workflows, Interfaces, and other related Concurrent programs

Developing and maintaining resolution procedures, using industry standards for development, testing and user acceptance to ensure a standard company policy is adhered to

Developing, maintaining and distributing documentation like Technical Design Document, Database Extensions Document and Test Scripts, ensuring that it is constantly kept up to date to meet Oracle system audit requirements

Implement Transguard policies through Oracle Fast Formulas

Evaluation and improvement of system performance and usage

Training material preparation and maintenance and training the end users.

Maintain and update end-user and procedures documentation.

To provide Technical and Functional Expertise to key stakeholders and Business Subject Matter Experts in all phases of the project lifecycle from discovery, design, build, user acceptance testing and go-live.

Develop and maintain relationships with all key stakeholders IT, ESS, HCM and Business Units and other relevant stakeholder depts. on a regular basis to ensure effective communication and running of system

Liaise with internal stakeholders and Database Administrators for impact analysis of software updates, patches and enhancement requests on existing data model.
