Your Challenge
Your challenge is to assist the Supply Chain Manager to implement change in order to attain speed, flexibility & responsiveness towards our customers to embed Simplicity in our Way of Working.
 
Your Responsibilities
As an Order Desk Officer, you are responsible for:
  • Conducting Sales Order Processing via SAP.
  • Placing PO (purchase order) with factories.
  • Coordinating with Suppliers (Factories) for Planning / getting info on Ex-works date.
  • Ensuring the DRM (delivery reliability measurement) is in line with targets set.
  • Preparing for Shipping instruction and follow-up for delivery.
  • Coordinating with 3PL service provider to inform, organize & consolidate a project order for direct shipment to customers.
  • Ensuring highest level of customer satisfaction by maintaining effective communication.
  • Ensuring delivery deadline, as committed, are met at all times & efficiently communicated where delays are inevitable.
  • Keeping track of known issues faced with customer / supplier by maintaining Issue List.
  • Coordinating with planning team & submitting short-term and mid-term planning / forecast for effective capacity allocation with our factories.
  •  Analyzing statistics and compile accurate reports.
  • Taking ownership of customers’ issues and follow problems through to resolution.
  • Weekly update Total outstanding customer orders to customer (Toco).

We are looking for
  • Bachelor’s degree ( Additional diploma / degree in Logistic / SCM preferred )
  • Excellent knowledge and experience in working with Excel (Macros etc.)
  • Good understanding of overall Business Processes in general & of Supply Chain in particular.
  • Good knowledge of billing procedure via SAP.
  • Good knowledge of Customs Rules and Regulations within GCC and around ME region.
  • Self-starter and able to work under pressure.
  • Highly organized individual with good communication & interpersonal skills
  • Ability to think out of the Box, ability to exceed goals, and a team player.
  • Good co-ordination capability and multi-tasking.
