Partner Executive MENA
SUSE is an independent business unit of Micro Focus. Location : Dubai, UAE Job Summary : Develop partner landscape for SUSE products in Middle East region and on specific offering: Storage & Cloud. Looking for a sales expert for indirect sales of SUSE Linux Enterprise products and solutions. Selecting and attracting the right channel partners, setting up channel programs and activities for SUSE Enterprise Storage & Cloud to drive channel revenue.
The Partner Executive is the expert in management and development of named and unnamed partners including the identification of new business areas with partners. The Partner Executive is focused on building trusted advisor relationships with those partners. As such, he/she is expected to be able to build, foster and maintain executive level relationships across SUSE's potential and assigned and unassigned partner base and partner ecosystem. At the same time the Partner Executive is responsible to maintain and develop the IT sales channel for unassigned partners.
Responsibilities : Recruitment, Management, Development and Enablement of partners – focus on SUSE Storage and Cloud solutions; delivering larger projects with named and unnamed partners and SUSE Product Sales Specialist team. Manage strategic growth partner through indirect IT channel by setting up the right channel programs, events and marketing activities, working close with local distribution. Effectively generating and managing leads with unassigned partners, identification of new business opportunities with the partner for SUSE. Support SUSE Sales Team on partner related sales activities to maximize revenue and market impact.
Develop joint business plan with key assigned partners, including elements such as joint financial sales targets, joint marketing plans and resource requirements. Reporting and Other Organizational Relationships : Reports to SUSE Regional Director for EMEA East region. Key Performance Indicators : Attainment of Quota for channel sales within named partner landscape in Middle East. Trusted business relationship with named partners.
Significant progress in generating new business within indirect IT channel (named and unnamed partners). Candidate Profile University degree in a business related discipline. Minimum 5 years of professional channel sales experience, preferably in IT / Data Center sales. Strong skills & experience in managing & developing existing named Partners including experience how to work with partner sales force Knowledge of the Enterprise IT channel landscape in Middle East.
IT Industry Background (Understanding of Operations and internal processes). Strong interpersonal skills & ability to represent SUSE on CxO level. Highly motivated, dedicated and enthusiastic. Used to work in Matrix Organizations and to find ways through the matrix that provide help needed.
Excellent communication skills Used to work in Teams, ability to learn quickly.
