We are seeking Pastry Chef(Cluster) for the Blue Waters Resorts at the upcoming vibrant destination and home of Ain Dubai.

Bluewaters is a man-made mixed use island located off the coast of Jumeirah Beach Residence. Ain Dubai, the world’s largest observation wheel, forms the unique centerpiece of this development that is poised to become one of the world’s largest tourism hotspots.

As the Pastry Chef, you are responsible for operating the pastry section of the kitchen while working closely with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef. You will also be required to plan production and develop seasonal offerings. He / She should be an ambassador for the company and the hotel.
Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate experience in the following;

•Responsible to create high quality pastry dishes with the standard recipes and presentations in order to maintain quality standards and consistency of product.
•Responsible in production and maintenance of par stocks of pastry and dessert with proper rotation of products and maintain highest cleanliness and hygiene standard in the pastry and bakery section.
•Able to provide leadership and strategic planning to Food & Beverage Division in support of our service culture, maximize operations and guest satisfaction.
•To be aware of all financial budgets and goals.
•To ensure that guests are always receiving an exceptional dining experience representing true value for money.
•Ensure compliance with food hygiene and Health and Safety standards.
•Guide and motivate pastry assistants and bakers to work more efficiently.
•Maintain a lean and orderly cooking station and adhere to health and safety standards.

The ideal candidate will come from a hospitality background and will hold a University Degree/Diploma in Culinary or a related field with experience in opening, managing and re-positioning a Hotel with clear track record. He/She will also hold over 15 – 20 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, with significant luxury and international experience, ideally including experience in leisure and tourism destination locations. Minimum of 4 years of experience of Pastry Chef Experience with high volume food production.
