Process Engineer (Water & Wastewater)

MWH, now part of Stantec, is seeking qualified candidates for a Process Engineer for our Dubai office. The primary focus of this position will be to serve as a process lead for water and wastewater treatment plant designing and process engineering. This position will require an individual with extensive experience in process engineering as it relates to solution handling, water treatment, and waste management. The individual will be required to work on the development of Process design basis, process calculation, PFD, PID and other process engineering related design and drawings. This position interacts throughout the organization internally and externally with client and members of business and professional organizations. - Minimum Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering - 2 to 5 Years experience in a relevant role. - Arabic speaking is a must. Specific activities to be performed by the applicant include: • Follow safe work practices and adhere to company and client guidelines and policies for planning and executing work in a safe manner. • Engineering evaluation and studies of processes for optimization and value engineering. • Ability to prepare or review technical reports. • Develop design drawings and construction specifications related to industrial processes such as bulk commodity production, industrial waste water treatment, etc. • Provide construction oversight and management functions in support of client capital expenditure projects. • Develop budgets, determine project scope, establish schedules, process appropriate paperwork, and interact with clients in business development activities. • Provide technical presentations and serve on technical review boards in project reviews. • Be externally focused with established clients and be capable of developing business
