Product Marketing Manager Wound closure and Hernia, MEACAT

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

The primary responsibility of Product Marketing Manager Wound closure and Hernia MEACAT is to drive sustainable growth of the assigned product portfolio in MEACAT region through intimate commercial excellence knowledge, delivering best in class marketing strategies and driving implementation and optimization excellence.

Product Marketing Manager Wound closure and Henria MEACAT understands SI MITG’s overall position in the market understands the global and local strategies and collaborates with key support functions to create a tailored marketing strategy approach that reflects the dynamics of the region, while maintaining budgetary stewardship and a close eye on profitability.

The role is part of the MEACAT SI Regional Marketing team and would require the person to work closely with both regional peers and the respective country sales and Marketing teams.

The position reports directly to Marketing Director SI MEACAT.

MAIN JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understanding Markets and Customers
o Knowledge of region, industry market attractiveness, competitive landscape & market analytics
o Capture customer insights, segmentation and develop value proposition
  • Develop and implement the marketing plan
o Financial and demand forecasting, pricing and profitability strategy, metrics and performance measurement
o Strategic planning, marketing mix strategy and portfolio management
o eMarketing expertise to support multichannel sales and in-country Disease State campaigns (create content and drive eMarketing campaigns)
o Close collaboration to support MITG disease state management, Disease state task team involvement
  • Implement and Optimize
o Launch excellence and customer experience
o Commercial team alignment
o Customer satisfaction and demand generation
o Optimize marketing effectiveness
  • Manage ad hoc product challenges - Supply chain issues; recalls, backorders etc
Local training support - Execute training locally; new hires, new products

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business relevant discipline.
  • Fluency in English and local language.
  • Full clean driving licence.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
JOB EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 2 – 3 years of Product Marketing experience in Medical Devices or High Tech environment.
  • Previous experience managing a portfolio
  • Previous commercial experience is desirable
  • Intimacy of the EM and MEACAT region
REQUIRED MARKETING KNOWLEDGE

  • Market Analysis: Solid understanding of in regional customer & competitive landscape and relevant market trends affecting his assigned product portfolio.
  • Customer Understanding: Strong ability to translate customer data into meaningful marketing insight, proficiency in segmentation & targeting and definition of stakeholder specific value propositions.
  • Business & Financial Acumen: Possesses in depth product & portfolio understanding, understands pricing impact on profitability, uses appropriate metrics to measure performance of assigned product portfolio.
  • Marketing Strategy: Competent in strategic marketing planning, marketing mix strategy and brand positioning.
  • E-marketing and Digital marketing knowledge to create content and drive digital campaigns for remote sales optimization and or patient/KOL awareness
  • Launch Excellence: Proficient in developing launch strategies and tailoring the development of new offering towards the target customers segments.
  • Commercial Enablement: Can create alignment within the commercial sales team and thus optimize market effectiveness for his product portfolio, proactively manages demand planning & forecasting.

Travel Required:
Willingness to travel 40 – 60% of time.
