For Munich Health Daman Holding (MHDH) Ltd.

This joint venture steers various healthcare (insurance) projects in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. You will be responsible for conducting overall healthcare market research and developing and implementing business opportunities primarily for health insurance projects for the private and public sector and consultancy on other health services.

YOUR JOB

• Conduct healthcare market research and analysis as a basis for identifying business opportunities related to health insurance and related services for Munich Health Daman Holding (MHDH) in the MENA region
• Initiate and conduct discussions with key decision makers of potential business partners in close alignment with the Director Business Development & Projects to seize business development opportunities and convert these leads into projects
• Prepare and deliver professional business cases to shareholders and senior managers to display financial attractiveness and potential of business ventures
• Provide (consultancy) support to existing MHDH businesses in order to generate additional value, improve operations, etc. in close cooperation with their respective management teams
• Assume responsibility for preparing project plans, defining project resources, capabilities and skills required, and advise on specific project staffing to get approval for project execution from the Director Business Development & Projects
• Assume responsibility for implementation of strategically relevant projects by daily management of project team members and work streams to achieve successful implementation on a time, quality and budget related basis
• Develop market entry strategies for the existing health services portfolio in order to introduce customized services

YOUR PROFILE

• Masters degree in business administraiton, public health, economics or similar qualification
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a strategy or business development role within a regional or international healthcare venture or alternatively from an established management consultancy company (track record in healthcare or financial services projects)
• Profound knowledge and understanding of the MENA healthcare markets and ideally health insurance business
• Thorough knowledge and extensive experience in project management
• Very good interpersonal skills, organizational talent and ability to handle multiple responsibilties in a fast-paced and international environment with limited supervision
• Distinct analytical skills, creativity, cross-linked thinking and assertiveness in communication with senior audiences
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English, Arabic would be an advantage; willingness to travel as required within and outside the MENA reigon
