At the
moment, we are looking for a

Reservation Manager

to join our enthusiastic, warm and friendly
room reservations team at

Crowne Plaza
Dubai

.

As the

Reservation
Manager

, you will manage
the reservations team and drives ADR, RevPar and occupancy growth together with
them. Monitor the Reservations process and make sure reservations are handled
in a polite and professional manner as per the standards of IHG

Qualifications

DUTIES
& RESPONSIBILITIES

FINANCIAL
RETURNS

Control of inventory in order
to stimulate ADR growth and maximization of room revenue

Promoting, developing and
tracking Reservations Up Selling and Re-Conversion programs.

Identify
opportunities for value added services to increase sales profitability and
anticipate client needs.

Work
closely with Revenue Manager and with Director of Sales and Marketing to ensure
RevPar optimization and exceeding revenue goals.

Actively
participate in sales meetings by offering updates on monthly and year to date
business on books and forecast for coming periods.

Keep abreast of market trends,
prepare and provide analysis and recommendations with respect to competitor and
overall market issues.

PEOPLE

Training
& Development of Reservation Executives and Reservation Agents in
product and services, up selling, loyalty programs and guest complaint
handling.

Hiring of
Reservation agent and proper manning of the reservations office for highest
productivity.

Conducting weekly team meetings
to discuss issues and performance.

Work in co-ordination with the
sales team and assist them in managing client reservations, group bookings etc.

GUEST EXPERIENCE

Effectively
manage the Property Management System to optimize its functionality.

Cultivate
engaging, professional relationships with customers to gain loyalty, trust and
‘top choice’.

Supervise
the handling & coordination of group business for room allocation, follow
up on rooming lists and guest details and ensuring that all information is
accurately loaded on the operating system.

Regular co-ordination
with Front Office to handover reservation details accurately and in a timely
manner. Two way communication with the PCR Manager to ensure information flow.

Act on client complaints,
feedback and report to appropriate personnel. Ensure recovery calls are dealt
with in an appropriate manner.

RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS

Conduct duty in a courteous, safe and efficient manner, in
accordance with the hotel’s policies and procedures, brand standards and code
of conduct, ensuring that a high level of service is maintained.

Ensure response time to
reservations is met as per brand standard.

Perform related duties and special projects assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor
Degree/high education qualification.
Experience in a hospitality or hotel sales or an equivalent combination
education and work experience. Must speak local language. Other language
preferred.
