JOB PROFILE – WAITER / WAITRESS

It is the maiden F&B; project and sister concern of The Condor Group, an MNC with a strong presence in the Middle-East and Asia. The Brew Bar aims to open multiple outlets in the Middle-East and in Asia within the next 5 years. Additionally, the group aims to launch a second line of restaurants in the 2nd quarter of 2018.
Description: You will be operating as a member of the operating team and will play a significant role in maximizing its growth, financial performance and market standing. You are responsible for serving all products with friendly, individualized attention towards each guest. You will fulfill any other duties the Manager assigns and will represent The Brew Bar Restaurant and Café in a professional manner.
The role will include :
Customer Service
Serves products to customers in a courteous and friendly manner.
Participates in all sales promotions effectively and efficiently.
Safely handles all hot and cold drinks/food during preparation and service.
Verbally receives and calls back customer orders in a friendly manner.
Reports all customer complaints to manager on duty.
Responds pro-actively to prevent customer service situations.
Accurately rings sales orders into cash register and counts back change to customers in a courteous and friendly manner.
Answers telephone in a courteous and friendly manner including but not limited to giving store greeting, directions to store location, receiving and filling customer orders.
Answers customer questions regarding café/ restaurant facts or menu in a courteous and friendly manner.
Maintains efficient, friendly service standards.
Outlet Operations
Generates revenues by attracting new customers; defining new and expanded services and products.
Maintains inventories.
Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns. Maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations.
Improves quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes.
Implementing changes.
Maintaining and improving the appearance of the café.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading retail trade, and food service publications; maintaining personal networks.
Enhances café reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Compliance
Maintaining a through and complete understanding of all applicable rules and regulations of the jurisdiction.
Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Creating and maintaining standards and procedures to ensure that a clean, safe and world-class environment is available both for the team and guests.
Ensuring all cleaning schedules are current and contain information required by food safety regulations with any testing carried out as instructed.
Ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and used safely, ensuring the competency of others.

Regularly required to handle food and hot beverages.
Desired Profile
Experience in café or restaurant preferred.
Excellent verbal and written skills.
Well organized and detail oriented.
Register and cash handling experience.
Smart, clean and groomed appearance; excellent standards of personal hygiene.
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
