RTT Service Technician (MESC) - Dubai Airport

Install / Maintain / Service HBS equipment sites specific to RTT and other Rapiscan systems equipment in the assigned area.
  • 24/7 365 operation with 12 hour shift pattern
  • Maintain / develop strong interpersonal relationships with customer, distributor representatives, ensuring Customer Satisfaction. Based in Dubai reporting to local Rapiscan Service / Operations manager.

      • Responsibilities:
        • Technical: Maintain all RTT models in the assigned area.
        • Electronic / mechanical: Total system level trouble-shooting on complex multi-system problems. Proficient IT skills
        • Customer skills: Daily interface with operators, technicians and BHS managers on equipment status issues.
        • Relationships: Helps train others where necessary; participate as active member of Local Customer Teams as appropriate.
        • Cost awareness: Ensure common practices and efficient methods are applied for Service provided and adheres to SLA requirements
        • Administration: Responsibly complete all administration tasks in timely and complete manner.
        • Documentation: Ensure timely completion of Field Modification Instructions and Planned Maintenance, corrective repair, Service inspections documentation for assigned accounts and files SRs promptly.
        • Installations: Play a key role in complex and multifunctional site installations. Assist senior engineers in installation and other related work. Shares best practices.
        • Training: Proactively seek training to keep up-to-date with technological developments in own modality/modalities.
        • Other Duties: As directed by manager or company
        • Quality: Promptly escalate any quality or integrity issue.
        Environment, Health & Safety (EHS): Comply with the EHS Policies and applicable laws and regulations. Identify and correct hazards and unsafe conditions.

        Qualifications:
        • Qualified to Diploma level in Electrical and/or Electronics or equivalent. (HNC +)
        • Technical analytical & Trouble-shooting skills.
        • Very good IT Skills with knowledge of networking. PLC knowledge an advantage
        • 3-5 years field service experience.
        • Comprehensive knowledge of screening or X-ray an advantage
        • Ability to work independently with minimum direction.
        • High work standards - qualitatively, demonstrates initiative and motivation.
