Job Summary:
Fluid Management is a profitable and strategically important Business Units of Ingersoll Rand’s Industrial Sector. There is an immediate opening for the role of

Sales Engineer, Fluid Management.

In this role, he/she will report to the IMEA Commercial Leader and will be in charge of delivering profitable growth for the Fluid Management in the region. This position is the support level selling position, which gains the necessary skills to transition to outside sales. Role includes product and technical support, quoting, follow-up, pricing, order processing, expediting, and dealing directly with distributor and sales professional to generate revenue in Middle East & Africa region.

Responsibilities:
Proactively contacting current and potential distributors / customers to sell products. Follow up with distributors for orders.

Provide technical and sales support to existing distributors. Application study, Product recommendation, Product trial and Customers visit.

Stay up-to-date with new product and feature launches and ensure sales channels are on board

Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts.

Review each distributor’s performance and communicate their performance monthly.

Expand coverage by helping induction of new channels and engaging existing the channels.

Prepare all sales and activity reports, presentations, studies and research as when required.

Analyses the competition and markets and reports conclusions to Sales team.

Qualifications:
Bachelors Engineering Degree in Mechanical

2+ years of proven experience in sales with technical products to distributors and to end users

Achievement-oriented and willing to put a high level of effort to produce results in a fast-paced team environment

Knowledge and understanding of the pump market, chemical processing Industry is a plus

Self-motivated and ability of independent sales activity. Open minded and curious on new ways

Willingness to travel

English Fluency is required. English & Arabic will be ideal

Strong communication and negotiation skills

Good presentation skills.
