Senior Accountant (Immediately available only)

Job Description – Accounts Position

We are an IT company based in Dubai, are urgently seeking a Senior Accountant to join the team.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

Controlling overall financial functions: reporting, implementation and coordination of financial systems
Preparation of Financial Reports & Monitoring of Accounts
Compile and analyze financial information to prepare accurate periodic financial statements and management reports.
Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedure.
Maintain books of accounts and ledger with supporting documents (Sales, Cash Disbursement, Cash Receipt and General Journal).
Develop and maintain financial data bases and financial audit preparation, coordinate the audit process maintain all account schedules, inventory and analysis continuous management and support of budget and forecast activities.
Monitoring Reports

-Cash flows, bank balances and conduct bank reconciliation.

-monitor and prepare project costing report

Supervise the process of invoicing for every project based on payment terms and delivery.
Compile and maintain project documents such as contracts, purchase orders and all forms of project approval and delivery to support invoices and collections.
Monitor and supervise accounts receivable from clients and submission of related reports to Director
Process application for Bank Guarantees ( performance & tender bond)
Maintain proper filing of Business Licenses and Contracts
Supervise of Monthly Payroll through WPS (Wage protection system)
Assign and monitor Job ID for every approved project to ensure sales documentation and proper billing to client
Support Administration & Finance Manager in the daily task.
Monthly payroll computation, WPS submission salary transfer & vouchers

Skills

The key skills required for the role are: Organization Negotiation Persuasion Interpersonal skills other key requirements:

Minimum three years in similar role in UAE
Knowledge of IT industry would be an advantage.
Resourceful, self-driven, proactive and independent worker
Hardworking and meticulous with positive attitude
Must possess excellent computer skills (Microsoft applications Excel, Word, PPT, etc.)
Detail-oriented and able to multi-task in a high energy and fast-paced environment with critical and tight schedules
