Senior Debt Structurer

Purpose of role The Debt Structuring team is an internal and external client facing team responsible for structuring often complex and bespoke lending transactions for HNW and UHNW clients across various jurisdictions and platforms. Global booking centres include London, Offshore Islands, Geneva, Monaco, and Mumbai. Lending solutions structured by the team include all forms of residential and commercial real estate financing, investment (Lombard) lending (diversified and single line), insurance premium finance, and trade finance. The role holder will be expected to assume leadership of local Debt Structuring needs and team, as required by the Head of Banking and Credit. The role holder will possess specialist credit skills and knowledge and will undertake the management of a portfolio of their own transactions and client relationships (in partnership with Private Bankers), undertaking complex deal structuring and transaction management on an end-to-end basis. The role holder will be a credit expert, with the ability to manage, train and team build, with the ability to provide robust oversight of team activities ensuring that consistently high quality and innovative structuring advice is provided. As a senior member of the Credit business, the role holder will also be expected to engage proactively across the broader business and its associated stakeholders, building close ties with Business, Risk, Legal, Ops, Credit Product and Service team colleagues, and to contribute as a proactive member of the Credit business. The role holder will ensure that conformance to the wider PBOS business strategy is maintained
