Senior Functional Analyst

As a Functional Analyst, you will play a critical role in our client delivery teams, by providing indepth analytical understanding our clients’ business goals and drivers. You will lead and collaborate with the clients, developing and implementing strategies focused on enabling them to achieve their business vision and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Your key responsibilities will focus primarily on uncovering, challenging, understanding and communicating business requirements, ensuring client stakeholders and Mirum team members are fully aligned throughout the project lifecycle. As such, we are looking for an exceptional communicator – someone who can connect with clients, creative designers, technologists and project managers with ease, and can create clear, concise requirements documentation, which can be easily understood by all project stakeholders. Documentation may take the form of User Stories, Use Cases or Functional Specifications, depending on the project approach. In this role you will work on a broad range of projects to develop business and operating strategies.

Core Duties/Responsibilities:
- Help clients achieve business goals by translating customer needs into boundary-breaking new products, services, and profits
- Discover, analyze, challenge, define, document and communicate business and functional requirements for projects.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and creative, technical and QA team members throughout the project lifecycle from discovery and analysis, through development and testing, to training and embedding new tools and processes
- Conduct current state analysis, process mapping, requirements gathering, and documentation
- Lead clients to understand how current or envisioned processes align to industry best practice
- Participate in the solution design and selection processes as voice of business user
- Support requirements understanding and issue resolution throughout project life cycle.
- Participate in UAT planning & execution
- Create training materials for train-the-trainer and end-user training sessions
- Participate in the creation of project plans and communicate status to all levels of management
- Ensure issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner
- Seek opportunities to provide value-added solutions for business and clients
- Work collaboratively on multi-disciplinary teams
- Support business development activities including knowledge sharing & community building
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree or similar
- Experience
- 5+ years of experience of business consulting experience in digital business
- Experience with analyzing business requirements and defining solutions
- Experience with primary and secondary research & analysis
- Experience in financial analysis and business case development
- Experience with process mapping, process redesign and documentation
- Ability to interact with clients and translate their requirements into action plan
- Experience leading teams and motivating others to take action
- High proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and MS Project
- Experience with Content Management Systems (Sitecore or AEM etc.) a plus
- Working proficiency with SEO practices and implementation
- Language
- Fluent English
- Arabic fluency a plus
- Significant travel may be required as much of the work is done at the client site.
- Technology and / or content specific training will be provided as required.
