Senior Highway Design Engineer

Jouzy Consulting Engineers is currently looking for a highly motivated Senior Highway Design Engineer.

The responsibilities shall include but be not limited to:

Responsible for carrying out geometric layouts, horizontal and vertical alignments, pavement design/analysis, directional signing and marking, and all related street furniture.
Preparation of design reports from conceptual design through final design.
Day to day coordination of the road design team.
Assisting in preparation of project tender documents including front-end documents, particular specifications, BOQs and development of construction documents.
Providing technical guidance to Computer Aided Design (CAD) Designers/Drafters and lower level Engineers working on a variety of transportation projects.
Coordinating with the client, sub-consultants and all concerned authorities.
Performing other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Min. Requirements:

Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering.
The successful candidate must have around 7 plus years of experience in the field of highway and roadway design.
Experience with highway design tools like MX/Land Development, Civil 3D or similar computer tools.
Familiarity with design standards like AASHTO, RTA & BS

Excellent communication skills to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Ability to establish and maintaining effective working relationships with staff/Team
