Senior Manager – Entertainment Production

The DPR Entertainment Team works collaboratively regardless of job titles or duties to deliver world class entertainment. Manages the coordination of the creative and technical design/operation process to ensure that design intent, budget and schedule goals are met. The Production Manager manages the daily operations of motiongate entertainment and other divisions as required.

Main Duties :
  • Directly manages assigned entertainment staff as required to complete action items.
  • Supervise receipt/inventory and evaluations or people/resources including budgets, schedules, contracts, correspondence and deliverables as assigned.
  • Resource sourcing, bidding, negotiating, scope changes and contract maintenance.
  • Progress reports, interfacing with other departments and maintaining vendor relationships
  • Understand and actively participate in environmental, health & safety compliance.
  • Prepare and present inputs related to organizational/ departmental/ project budgets to the next reporting line.
  • Manage and control the actual cost verses budget on periodic basis and provide financial reports/data related to the department/ divisional/ project’s financial performance.
  • Manage assigned budgets within a 3% +/- margin.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures and processes inclusive of SOP’s, for the respective function/department and ensure reviewing and keeping the existing ones updated as part of the ‘continuous process improvement’.
  • Manage implementation of relevant electronic systems to bring efficiency and effectiveness existing processes.
  • Set objectives/ KPIs/ milestones for the respective department/ function and conduct appraisals for direct reportees on Electronic Performance Management System.

Are you a star ? In order to be qualified for this role you should possess the below criteria:

Essential:
  • Completed High School or higher or equivalent preferred
  • 1 year Experience with a professional theme park/theater industry preferred; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Interpersonal relationship skills
  • Team Player
  • Language skills as necessary for the role
Desirable:
  • University Degree or Professionally Trained
  • Five years production management or equivalent on a cruise ship show or land based theatre- professional or theme park
