The Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC) is leading the development of the United Arab Emirates' (UAE) Peaceful Nuclear Energy Program and building the country's first nuclear energy plant. Once completed, the Barakah Nuclear Energy Plant, located in the Al Dhafra Region of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi on the Arabian Gulf coast, is expected to produce nearly a quarter of the UAE's electricity needs.

ROLE INFORMATION:

- Identify and forward proposed Learning Management System (LMS) infrastructure enhancements to ICT and LMS vendor to provide input for future LMS changes.
- Working Knowledge of nuclear security qualification structures, nuclear job positions and the relationship of job to qualifications based on regulatory requirements.
- Act as an expert and point of contact for the LMS and E-Learning technical infrastructures and software applications to ensure accurate, consistent resolution to questions and issues. along with experience building specifications for application integrations to improve business processes.
- Link E-Learning modules and their associated exams to the LMS to allow use of the LMS exam bank.
- Act as training lead to work with ICT Support to resolve LMS and E-Learning application problems and issues.
- Review new LMS updates to determine the impact on the system and oversee implementation plans including risk assessments and contingency planning.
- Develop, implement and maintain necessary policies, procedures and processes to provide administrative guidance.
- Develop and oversee computer based systems and software budget requests to ensure sufficient funding is budgeted for and utilized.
- Utilize Vision database and nuclear processes as it relates to task to training matricies for FANR reporting of nuclear training and positions, tasks, objectives related to specific nuclear training

Other Activities

- Provide oversight of LMS business practices such as item and curriculum creation to ensure best practices are maintained, based on nuclear stadards.
- Support CNO and ICT teams in the evaluation of necessary training and qualification software provided by the Prime

Contractor to support Braka station needs.

- Design and create training and nuclear qualification structures and associated reports to support qualification tracking.
- Assess the feasibility and impact of proposed changes to computer based systems and software.
- Create new LMS items and modify existing items as necessary to maintain nuclear qualification integrity.
- Oversee development of customized reports for items such as department key performance indicators to ensure end users have access to LMS data.
- Identify and implement LMS process enhancements to streamline system use.
- Provide oversight of LMS data entry, Training History and Learning Plan accuracy to ensure data and system accuracy.
- Provide oversight and technical input for E-Leaming integration with the LMS to ensure system optimization.
- Assist in the implementation of E-Leaming modules that utilize multiple authoring tools and methods to ensure they successfully integrate with the LMS.
- Interface with Department Training Coordinators to provide technical guidance and reinforce roles and responsibilities.
- Develop,maintain and administer training/familiarization for new users and Department Training Coordinators to ensure end users have the knowledge and skills to perform routine operations in the LMS.
- Champion the securityTraining computer based systems and software solutions to promote use.
- Ensure compliance with ENEC and industry standards and regulations
