Senior Analyst – HR Analytics

Job Purpose
The purpose of the HR Analytics role is to support data driven decision-making for various HR functional areas and guide the functional heads & line manager for usage of such metrics. In addition, HR analytics systems and processes will allow for the discovery of trends and pressure points and the ability to make predictions on DA’s human resources and their management based on statistical data driven evidence.
Qualifications and Education:
1.
T
he job holder should be graduate preferably in Human Resources or related field.
2.
Sound knowledge of principles and practices of human resources management including recruitment, selection, performance management, job analysis and classification; compensation systems; benefit administration; employee and labor relations principles, practices, procedures and related legal requirements; program and project development and administration.
3.
Excellent MS Office skills, should be able to analyze huge amounts of data using excel spreadsheet formulas and should be able to prepare comprehensive reports and lively presentations.
4.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, influencing and negotiation skills and should be able to independently interact with any level of management viz. operational/supervisory/managerial/strategic.
5.
Sound knowledge of statistical analysis tools such as six sigma, benchmarking etc.
Experience:
3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role in a multi-cultural work environment.
Experience in designing and producing both simple and complex business analytics and trend analysis for use by management in decision support.
Experience in aviation (airline/airport)/service industry will be an added advantage.
Experience in providing consultancy to top management on key manpower issues is an added asset.
Demonstrated experience in properly managing confidential data.
Training:
Certifications/trainings in HR field will be an added advantage.
Knowledge:
1.
Knowledge about key processes across business functions viz. HR, finance, marketing, IT, procurement, logistics, engineering etc.
2.
Knowledge about manpower operating model, planning, forecasting and simulation tools.
