Structural CADD Operator

- Prepare engineering drawings such as basic arrangements, layouts, assemblies, isometrics, etc. from rough sketches or from general engineering and design information.
- Develop layouts, plans, sections, elevations and details as necessary.
- Perform dimensional and routine calculations required for the preparation of drawings.
- Perform drawing layout and plan drawings from sketches prepared by designers using standard CADD procedures.
- Develop complex details on drawings.
- Check layout and drawings for accuracy, relationship of one part to another, and relation of various parts to the whole drawing.
- Liaise with Engineers and CADD personnel from various disciplines.
- Keep up-to-date with CADD development & software, especially 3D software.
- Prepare and administer as-built drawings.
- Provide technical guidance to lower level CADD operators.
- Complete additional duties as assigned.
