Our Client: A renowned player in the lubricant industry undergoing significant changes and revamping their operations across markets are looking to bring on a Supply Chain Manager to embark on this new journey with them. Your Role: The position reports to the Vice President Global Operations & Supply Chain and is focused on maintaining, finding, selecting and building up successful and long term relationships with Lubricant suppliers, Logistics providers and vendors in the MEA region ensuring supply network optimization.
With in-depth knowledge of supply markets and in close collaboration with the suppliers and internal customers, the Supply Chain Manager will bring supplier capabilities in an efficient and transparent way to ensure security of supply and quality with a focus on optimizing the total cost of ownership. This position works closely with multiple cross functional leaders within the company including Sales, Marketing, Resource Groups and peer Supply Chain managers. The person in this role will be expected to have excellent customer relationship and negotiation skills and be able to engage with, and influence both external and internal customers and stakeholders.
Must Have: Minimum 10+ years’ experience in a similar function with a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or procurement.
Has an In-depth knowledge of supply & service contracts, logistics operations with Global Trade Management, and overall supply chain processes with a proven track record of cost savings, avoidance, and return on spend – Lubricants Supply Chain experience will be a plus.
Proven capability to negotiate supplier contracts.
