Tactical Planner

Main responsibilities:
Ensure personal compliance with all company Safety regulations and guidelines, Quality System, Operational, and Human Resource policies, procedures, and practices, including housekeeping procedures.
Collaborate with Supply and Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, Procurement, Sales, and Marketing to determine the appropriate supply strategies based on critical demand and supply characteristics.
Convert the demand plan into a network supply plan. This includes developing and sending a master production schedule and distribution requirements plan while optimizing network capacity.
Manage inventory and achieve required inventory levels at the defined inventory component level across network stocking locations to meet customer service levels. Address inventory imbalances and implement corrective actions.
Identify and resolve capacity constraints over the planning horizon to support development of a feasible plan.
Balance production planning across the network to maintain sprint capacity, including load leveling in preparation for maintenance shut downs, seasonal volumes, etc.
Identify and address supply variability issues and support demand planning in forecast accuracy improvement process to improve overall plan feasibility and reliability. Coordinate root cause analysis and resolution of these issues with key cross-functional stakeholders as needed.
Coordinate inter-plant scheduling constraints related to schedule break-ins, raw materials, etc. facilitated through regular communication.
Identify, analyze & implement continuous improvement opportunities to result in service improvements or cost savings. Interact with key cross-functional stakeholders as required for success.
Review, analyze and update key master data fields in the ERP system to ensure adherence to supply chain processes.
Ad hoc Supply Chain projects as assigned

Qualifications:
Bachelor degree
5 - 10 years of experience in planning and/or logistics
Industry knowledge is preferred
iScala and SAP experience a plus
Arabic speaker a plus
Understand and practice Company and Customer safety policies and procedures.
Ability to plan and organise effectively to meet the demands of the business.
Communicate effectively with all levels of personnel both verbal and written
Advanced skills in Excel, Access, PowerPoint & Outlook through experience and training.
Good time management skills.
High level of Integrity
Meticulous attention to detail
Good analytical thinking skills
Able to work both independently and as part of a team
Strong organization, sense of urgency, prioritization and multi-tasking skills.
Must take ownership of workload and make decisions independently based on policy and customer needs.
