Tax Policy Professional, Government Organisation, UAE ( 12+ years of Tax Policy experience required)

A Government organisation is seeking an experienced Tax Policy professional, to document, develop and update all tax policies in alignment with the UAE Government principles and UAE laws. 

Key Responsibilities:

- Define and implement tax policy operational plan
- Manage the design and implementation of monitoring and enforcement of tax policies
- Manage tax treaty negotiations and resolution of international tax issues
- Analyse tax policy trends and performance
- Recommend tax policy improvements 
- Direct employee training on tax policy topics and procedures
- Advise on the implementation and operation of tax policy programs
- Support tax policy drafting and submission of draft laws and revisions
- Prepare, monitor and report the overall budget, providing suggestions on cost reduction

Your Experience (must have):

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Law / Economics / Finance
- Accounting (ACCA / CPA) and/or Taxation (CTA / ATT) qualification
- 12+ years of Tax Policy experience
- Tax policy, enforcement, compliance experience in Government Entity
- Indirect tax (VAT, excise tax) experience in Government Entity

- Fluent language skills in Arabic and English
