Team Leader Online Banking, Corporate & Investment Banking Group
Support the team in day to day activities to achieve maximum potential and acquire the set targets & budget.
Provide leadership to the team acting as a positive role models at all times
Provide consistent & superior digital experience to our corporate customers through online banking advisors. (OBA).
Ensure to effectively build and service a portfolio of non-borrowing customers with a specific focus on risk free liability balances and to generate fee based income through the sale of Transaction Banking/ GTS Products, TCM/FX products, Trade & Working Capital solutions and other cross sell opportunities by making sure that client routes maximum business through Mashreq.
Ensure the quality & soundness of assigned portfolio (KYC reviews, monitoring for due diligence, anti-money laundering procedures etc.
Key Result Areas
Handling of around 1600 non borrowing corporate banking accounts and higher total revenue target of around AED 6-7MM within the team.
Improve profitability by right corporate banking product placement, leveraging technology to deploy a lower cost digital mediums to enhance customer experience.
Improve share of wallet & target to be primary bank for each of the relationships in the assigned portfolio. Enhance relationship revenue from existing portfolio of non-borrowing accounts by cross-selling complete range of banking products.
Deliver the planned KPI’s for the year for the team.
Measure and manage the activity levels of the channels and OBA output.
To endure that the OBA team is well educated and trained to book accounts which meet the bank’s compliance standards, minimizes reputational risk and in line with the banks vision mission, and values.
Provide on job training to OBA team to endure effective selling and product knowledge.
Ensuring that the sales process is followed by verifying documents of the client booked.
Ensuring that the team can look upon him a source of motivation, guidance and information at all times.
Creating and marinating the atmosphere of the team spirit and zeal in the team and ensure healthy competition.
Be in regular touch with the Unit Head and providing timely updates on the team performance and gap coverage.
Ensuring joint calls with the OBA team so as train and guide on business generation.
Ensuring that customer complaints and concerns are addressed.
Ensuring TAT of account opening and client serving are met with due support of other Units and maintain a cordial relationship with the support Units like CAM. Compliance and Operations.
Ensure weekly client calls and meetings to maximize primary transaction banking sales.
Backup for other team members (when on leave).
