Position Summary:
This role will support Account Managers, Client Partners, Sales Executives and other Sales and Technical resources. This role interacts with many resources beyond sales and sales support - teamwork is critical.

- Sales Strategy Definition
- Account Reviews and opportunity plan generation
- Attend and drive Sales meetings and opportunity qualification assessments
- Business Case Development and Return of Investment study
- Management, Executive and C-Level client meetings
- Business Case presentation creation and delivery
- Sales proposal inputs and reviews (RFI and Direct Bids) that include:
- Commercial – review and input for pricing (license & services), terms & conditions / contracts
- Participate in deal negotiations
- Contributions to NetCracker Thought Leadership
- Industry event involvement (TMF etc.) and speaking
- Extensive travel required to work with Customers.
- Working with additional key NetCracker internal team members beyond Account Managers and Sales Directors that include:
- Bid Management
- R&D; and Solutions Engineering
- Solution Delivery Executives and Program Managers / Project Managers
- Legal Department
- PMO / SOW Approval
- General customer interaction levels expected:
- CTO, CIO
- VP of Business Unit
- Network and Product VP’s & Directors
- IT VP’s & Directors
- IT or OSS / BSS Managers
- GM of Operational Companies
- 7-10 years working in Telco industry
- Strong written and verbal English skills
- Experience of building, development and management a team
- Experience in OSS/BSS area
- Well-developed knowledge and understanding of the global telecommunications marketplace
- Experience in strategic planning (network, services), transformation programs or delivering solutions for a Telco
- Solution Selling (selling complex solutions with high prices)
- Some IT and/or software development experience in one or more of the following areas: large-scale, mission-critical applications, network management systems, Operations Support Systems, general large-scale system architecture, large-scale databases
- Ability to work as part of a team to solve complex technical problems and work with accounts in complex environments
- Business-like presence and ability to interact professionally with customers at all organization levels
- Prior management experience and skill set
- Business consulting:
- Business, financial/budget and project knowledge, with solid business case development
- Knowledge of one or more Communications Service Provider markets
- Sales proposal preparation
- Ability to work effectively and communicate across departments, teams, and cultures
- Ability to effectively communicate to customer executives
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, as well as strong strategic and analytical skills
- Telecommunications:
- Specific knowledge in NFV/SDN area (benefits, technologies, key vendors, use cases, etc.)
- Demonstrated knowledge of major industry standards: TMF, TNM, ETSI, ITU, 3GPP, ONF, ONRF, etc.
- Deep knowledge in telecom technologies, industry trends (network architectures, technologies, services) used in wireline, wireless, cable operators
- Telco business processes related to BSS and OSS operations
- BSS / OSS Software:
- Network Management, Resource Management, Service Management
- Planning, Rollout, Order Management, Fulfillment, Activation, Assurance
- IaaS, SaaS, Managed Services
- Extensive knowledge of telecom applications, their purpose and use in telecom operators
