Work description
Install, operate and solve problems of all equipment, devices and audiovisual systems, projection, lighting and conferences. Supervise the installation of audio-visual equipment in banquet and meeting rooms. Ensure that all audio-visual equipment functions properly, repair or clean the equipment when necessary. Label damaged equipment and report problems to manager or supervisor. Fasten with tape and cover all loose wires and cables. Check the equipment delivered and the organization of the room with the Order of the banquet for the event. Communicate any additions or deletions in the diagram to the manager or supervisor. Assisting and teaching guests and clients about the proper use and handling of audiovisual equipment, Sell better and different audiovisual services and control the management of the equipment at regular intervals. Disassemble, remove and secure equipment when not in use. Read, understand, and follow the guidelines in Marriott Visual Productions' standard operating procedures (MVP program).
Comply with all company safety and security policies and procedures and inform the manager of accidents, injuries and unsafe working conditions. Comply with all company policies and procedures, ensure uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Receive and recognize all guests according to company standards, anticipate their service needs and attend to them and thank the guests with genuine appreciation. Talk to others using clear, professional language. Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with others and support the team to achieve common goals.Abide by expectations and quality assurance standards. Reach, grasp, flip, manipulate, move, lift, transport, push, drag, and locate objects that weigh 50 pounds or less. Visually inspect tools, equipment or machines. Perform other reasonable work duties as requested by supervisors.
