TYPICAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES (may include these , but are not limited to)
· Analyze RFQ’s and recommend quote / no quote. In case “quote” is decided by the bidding committee, proceed with bidding process and handle the RFQ's
· Prepare complete offer in the standard presentation format Utilize internal systems for generation of all proposals and storage of all technical and pricing data generated in the process of generating proposals.
· Utilize the corporate tools (Bridge front office, bFO / CRM Tools) to record, receive relevant approvals and get the dashboard data needed for performance management and improvement. Monitor and review the performance of the team through the required pre-assigned KPIs
· Maintain updated data for individual tenders on internal Tender register.
· Ensure the process capability of tendering by properly managing quotations (prices, contractual conditions and costs (CCO), gross margin) and maintain reliability of the quotations.
· Ensure use of latest as guidelines, processes and tool suite for offer.
· Implement and manage tools and process for price calculation as per company guidelines and procedures.
· Participate in technical/commercial discussions with Customer alongside with Sales for finalizing the contract.
· Revise the offers to accommodate Internal / client’s comments whenever required.
· Update and improvement of quotation tool in coordination with Tender Team Leader .
· Present and Qualify in Tender stage gate review meetings
· Prepare contract review and participate in Project Launch.
· Contact vendors outside Schneider for non standard components whenever required
· Document internal and external product transfer prices and maintain the marketing and quoting database to optimize efficiency of the bid preparation processes.
· Respond to customer queries.
· Provide feedback to relevant departments on points of improvement and post- mortem analysis
. Implement and respect the CPP (customer projects process) including deliverable templates, KPI’s reporting.
