Urgent Opening for Fish Monger in a leading company in UAE.
Location – UAE
Salary – AED 2000 + Accommodation + Transport + Food
Working days – 6 Days
Key areas of responsibility:

• The Fishmonger is responsible for the operations of the fish and seafood department, maintaining freshness and customer appeal using excellent merchandising skills and product offerings to meet or exceed department sales and profit goals.
• Providing unprecedented customer shopping experiences, maximizing sales and profitability through fabulous displays, presentation and excellent communication.
• Retaining a high standard of cleanliness, safety, sanitation and compliance.

The role includes:

• Highest standards of customer understanding, greeting and service.
• Giving advice, guidance and recommendations on products, cooking and uses.
• Preparing and filleting a range of fish and seafood products to our main supplier’s specification and under their guidance to provide consistently high standards.
• Perform duties in a safe and efficient manner.
• Maintaining appropriate stock order levels, management, rotation and freshness of stock, product quality and turnover to maximize sales and minimize out-of-stocks and overstocks.
• Monitoring the receiving and unloading of stock.
• Working closely with the kitchen to supply the café and minimize waste.
• Understanding of an EPOS system to closely monitor performance and react to information contained.
• Ensuring accurate billing and pricing.
• Confirm quality, dates, counts and condition of stock.
• Managing promotions and creating fabulous displays, immaculately presented.
• Handling customer complaints in the first instance and reporting feedback to the Managers.
• Manage pricing and profitability.
• Train, motivate and mentor other staff involved in the fish counter.
• Communicate and cooperate with all other store staff engendering positive working relationships.

The personal skills required for the job:

• You must love fish and seafood, be interested and preferably have had experience in sales with relevant qualifications.
• An effective, well organized and efficient team player with a strong sense of discipline and urgency.
• Excellent standards of personal presentation, literate, numerate and articulate.
