WalkIn – IT Specialist, 19th June, 2017 - from 09.00 am to 01.00 pm

We need a subject matter expert to serve as our in-house IT Specialist in a long-term position. The successful candidate will serve two functions within the company. First, he must coordinate between the company and external vendors and contractors about IT-related infrastructure and development; and second, the IT Specialist will consult on any issues that might come up and advise about potential fixes or efficiency controls. We’re looking for a responsive, highly productive professional who can work with numerous vendors to ensure continued success through corporate projects.

Job Description:
• Administration and Management of Client / Servers and Operating Systems Receive and record technical and/or application support calls from end users.
• Basic installation and trouble shooting of PABX telephones.
• Configuration of Active Directory Services; Active Directory Group Policy Objects (GPO), Windows Deployment Services (WDS), DHCP, and DNS.
• Cpanel Maintenance such as website Hosting, quota management and email configurations. Installation and Configuration of Sonic wall 2400 firewall, Cisco, D-link, Linksys ADSL router, VPN Servers.
• Installation & Configuration of VPN server.
• Installation and Configuration of CCTV, DVR's and NVR's.
• Installation and trouble shooting for various biometric devices.
• Installation and troubleshooting all client versions of Windows operating systems.
• Installation of Network cables and knowledge about crimping.
• Management reports
• Network troubleshooting
• Over-seeing all IT related issues.
• Programming and monitoring of tracking devices such as GPS tracking.
• Provide investigation, diagnosis, resolution and recovery for hardware/software problems. When unable to resolve, escalate to second or third level in accordance with Help Desk escalation processes.
• RAID configuration, NAS Navigator, Scheduling backup of Server and desktop.
• Software & Hardware Troubleshooting
• Software installations, new computer setups, upgrades, etc. As well as network configuration / management, client setup, connectivity etc.
• Troubleshooting of all type of Hardware including PC's, Laptops, Printers, CCTV Cameras, DVR's, Biometric Devices.
