Responsibilities

• Responsible for designing, coding and modifying websites, from layout to function and according to the group company / client's specifications.
• Create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation.
• Confer with the group companies and clients to discuss ideas for the layout, colors, and organization of the site content.
• Use web development software to integrate databases and other information systems.
• Regular exposure to business stakeholders and executive management, as well as the authority and scope to apply your expertise to many interesting technical problems.
• Strong understanding of the programming codes, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.
• Understand the security principles and apply them to E-Commerce applications.
• Develop detailed and clear project deliverables and timelines and ensure timely completion of all projects.
• Attend client/company meetings during the development process.
• Build and refine graphic for websites. Determine appropriate technical solutions.
• Outside-the-box thinking to provide high value-of-service to the company and clients.
• Be aware of emerging technologies or applications and the opportunities to integrate them into operations and activities.
• Develop innovate, reusable Web-based tools. Build applications and services for the Web.
• Creation of site layout/user interface from provided design concepts by using standard HTML/CSS practices.
• Routine daily maintenance of existing sites and applications. Regularly test the website and identify technical problems, if any.
• Take ownership of daily project needs and communications.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering.
• Min 2-3 years working experience as Web Developer
• Develop CMS platforms such as Magento, Joomla and Word Press.
• PHP programming and databases such as SQL.
• Integrate ecommerce platforms with third part systems such as payment gateway.
• Web Analytics and search engine optimization (SEO)
• Create artwork for branding materials.
• Able to develop mobile websites/applications is an added advantage.
• Commitment to providing excellent IT services
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Willing to learn new web/software applications.
