POSITION OVERVIEW:
A Scaffold Builder must have the knowledge to build, modify and remove scaffolding as required for safe operations of the plant. A Scaffold Builder must be a competent person or one who is capable of identifying existing and predictable hazards in the surroundings or working conditions, which are unsanitary or hazardous to employees, and who has authorization to take prompt corrective measures to eliminate them. The essential functions of a carpenter consists of spending long periods of time in the physical activities of standing, walking, climbing stairs, light to heavy lifting, carrying, twisting, kneeling, stooping, bending and crouching as required to do work as a team member in providing support towards a successful and adequate completion.

- Build, modify and remove scaffolding as required for work at heights .
- Capable of identifying existing and predictable hazards in the surroundings or working conditions, which are unsanitary or hazardous to employees
- Capable of take prompt corrective measures to eliminate hazards
- Participate in Pre-Job Briefings
- Follow safe work practices .
- Use administrative documents, procedures, data sheets/forms properly.
- Lift minimum of fifty pounds over head.
