Charterhouse is working with an international, well respected lighting manufacturer who specialises in high quality luminaires. Our client develops and produces luminaires for all areas of architecture and has an established team in the Middle East with a strong regional network. Due to continued growth, an opportunity has risen for an Area Sales Manager to join the team in Dubai.
As the Area Sales Manager, you will be ultimately responsible for the growth of the brand in the market through direct sales and winning projects with the regional architecture and design community as well as through the local distributors and dealers. You will have in-depth knowledge of outdoor and indoor lighting requirements and standards as well as a proven network with specifiers, architects, lighting designers, MEP consultants and landscape designers across the UAE and GCC. You will also be experienced in working closely with distributors to develop and stimulate growth and you will have an established reputation and history of excellence regionally within the industry.
The successful candidate should have at least 5 years experience in a regional sales role within a lighting business in the UAE. Candidates who have worked for lighting manufacturers will be preferred as well as a candidate who can speak fluent Arabic. This position will include both regional and international travel, therefore some visa restrictions may apply. It is essential you have a current network with the regional A&D community alongside extensive lighting knowledge.
