Our client is a facilities management, engineering, support services and project delivery business with clients in the commercial and public sectors.
They have a long and successful history and a track record of profitable growth and development.
The business has grown from its original roots into a successful and high profile company with a current turnover of circa £200 million in the UK and is part of a wider international group.A new and developing executive team is being created to move the business into a phase of expansion and to assist with this we are looking to identify a progressive and experienced Chief Finance Officer.
You will be qualified and have experience of leading the financial function, ideally coming from a corporate background where you will have experienced leading the financial function of a business that has grown through both organic and acquisition execution.
In addition you will have had experience of taking responsibility for other functions including legal, company secretariat and ICT.
Fundamentally managing the day to day financial function to produce outcomes that help with strategic decision making of the company are vital as is your ability to manage an expanding business and team. Working very closely with the Chief Executive Officer and Executive team, you will be part of the key leadership function that will be making interesting decisions about the company direction and plans. In addition, you will be very hands on, assisting the management of the business units to take full advantage of the opportunities that exist in key markets. A strong commercial and practical business style is essential as this is a company that seeks to grow in a professional and demanding sector.
