The Data Administrator will provide an uncompromising high level of accuracy by adhering to the standards of Fairmont The Palm.
Hotel Overview:Fairmont The Palm is a luxury, world-class resort located on the iconic Palm Jumeirah Island in Dubai.  The hotel features 381 guest rooms and suites with dedicated Fairmont Gold rooms and lounge.  A total of seven food and beverage outlets on property offer international dining options including Mideterranean cuisine and a Brazilian churrasco experience. Fairmont The Palm also features an expansive pool and beach area with a health club, Willow Stream Spa and the Fairmont Falcons Juniors’ Club.

Summary of Responsibilities: Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Front Office, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
  • Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
  • Demonstrates Fairmont’s Brand Service Plus Standards in all interactions
  • Ensures standards are not only met, but exceeded, i.e. providing check in and check out information to the police within a maximum of 10 minutes
  • Ensures that all appropriate guests’ identification is collected and valid
  • Completes all follow-up procedures, i.e. if a guest is moved to another room
  • Prepares V.I.P. amenity lists, ensuring names, titles etc. are correct
  • Merges profiles of daily arrivals to ensure we have the pertinent information that will enable us to further personalize a guest’s stay
  • Checks police E-mailbox for important messages
  • Communicates any unusual happenings and all important matters for follow-up, i.e. the police system being down, via E-mail to the Front Office Manager as well as the Duty Manager
  • Maintains Data Administration E-mailbox
  • Prepares paperwork for daily credit card cancellations
  • Complete daily posting of visa charges and liaise closely with the Government Relations Office and Government Relations
  • Provides the guests or interested parties with available information as needed and requested, provided that the information is not deemed confidential by the management policies, rules and regulations
  • Assists guests as well as colleagues and Leaders with Arabic speaking skills when necessary

 Qualifications:
  • Previous experience is an asset
  • Must possess outstanding guest services skills, professional presentation and sophisticated communication skills
  • Proficient in the Arabic & English languages (verbal & written)
  • Must be able to handle a multitude of tasks in a vibrant, ever-changing environment while remaining calm and collective
  • Must be flexible in terms of working hours
  • Able to type 25 words per minute in both Arabic & English
  • Computer literacy in Windows, MS Office Suite, and Fidelio PMS systems is recommended
  • 2 years minimum experience in customer service

  • Constant standing and walking throughout shift
