Our client is currently seeking a new Director of Finance to join their Hospitality organisation based in Dubai!
You will accountable for the financial, and risk management operations of the company, to include the development of a financial and operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results. Must have at least years experience, knowledge of Arabic will be preferred.
Principal accountabilities are:
Leading the development and deployment of financial strategy and financial policies within the organisation.
Overseeing the performance and defining the strategy of the Legal and Regulatory Affairs and IT departments, as well as the Corporate Procurement, Corporate Facilities Mgmt, and Human Resources.
Assist in formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives
Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans
Develop performance measures that support the company's strategic direction
Key Roles:
Developing and overseeing the implementation of the business financial strategies and policies
Develops the organization's overall financial strategy
Drives financial planning, accounting and budgeting
Conducts evaluation of new ventures, and uses financial instruments appropriately to manage costly exposures to risk
Sets up financial procedures, through which the organization ensures optimal credit control, liquidity and short-term investment and borrowing decisions
Provides strategic direction and insights to the organization in order to control costs
Providing a supporting role for each business unit in terms of financial analysis, budgetary controls, internal controls and treasury functions
Communicating financial performance and forecasts to shareholders
Overseeing select administrative tasks and responsibilities on a corporate level
