Summary of Responsibilities:
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

To consistently provide thoughtful, caring and sincere service

To lead and manage the day to day operations of Front Office, Guest Services and Housekeeping

To prepare annual budgets and administer in a fiscally responsible manner

To lead and support all areas in the achievement of their financial and operational targets

To ensure achievement of Market Matrix, Guest Satisfaction Index and Employee engagement survey scores set by the Hotel.

Tour hotel daily; audit staff adherence to hotel policies and procedures in all phases of service and job functions; follow up with designated personnel where needed

Observe guest reactions and confer frequently with staff to ensure guest needs are met

To control all purchases for the department and is consistently aware of quality and cost

To oversee group business, reviewing and ensuring details of group resumes are met

To follow department policies, procedures and service standards

To follow all safety policies

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Previous experience in a senior leadership role required

Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications required

University/College degree in a related discipline an asset

Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities

Highly responsible & reliable

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment

Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team

Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times

Physical Aspects of Position:
Physical aspects of the position include but are not limited to the following:

Frequent sitting and walking throughout shift

Occasional lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs

Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting

Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
