The Finance Analyst will play a key role in the MENA finance team . The MENA based team is a small unit of experienced banking and investment professionals. A positive professional attitude, teamwork and hands on proactive involvement will be critical for the success of individual, team and function.

A company based in Dubai is looking for a Financial Analyst for a 6 month contract, it is essential that the candidate has previously worked in the UAE either for a Bank/Financial Serivces orgainisation or Professional services firm within their back office function.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Processing vendor payments.
• Month End Close – preparing Oracle adjustments.
• Fortnightly bank reconciliations across finance owned bank accounts, prompt escalation of breaks.
• Monthly preparation of cash flow forecast across MENA entities.
• Work with the Bank Control Team to maintain lists of authorised signatories, and executive officers.
• Prepare and execute inter-company settlement of service fees.
• Prepare monthly withholding tax returns; obtain supporting documentation for inter-company expenses, prompt escalation.
• Preparing ledger extracts required for translation.
• Supporting external and internal audits.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet substantiation
• Preparation of Regulatory Returns for review
• Preparing BDA to Oracle reconciliations.
• The Financial Analyst need to be a qualified accountant and previously worked.
• Trained with a Big 4 audit firm
• Based in Dubai
• Strong excel user
