Head of Business Development

Our client, an international law firm, is seeking a Head of Business Development for their Dubai office Reports to Regional Managing Partner You will possess significant Business Development experience working within a professional services environment - legal experience an advantage but not essential The Head of Business Development will: - Lead, improve, co-ordinate, manage and expand the Business Development and Marketing activities of one of the largest and longest established international law firms in the Middle East. - Report to the Director of Business Development (UKMEA) and the Middle East Business Development and Marketing Partner, and work closely with regional management as well as with other key administrative staff. - Be responsible for delivering all elements of the Business Development and Marketing mix for the wider region. This role forms a crucial element in the development and improvement of the firm's Business Development and Marketing capabilities at a time when the world's largest firm is changing rapidly as it expands globally. Requirements The Head of Business Development will possess: - Experience of working within a complex matrix business environment ideally from the legal sector - Experience of managing and operating in a highly dynamic environment. - Experience of working in multi-national global firm with an understanding of multi-cultural regions. - Excellent writing skills. - Experience in bids to enable coaching and advising. - Strong understanding and experience of targeting, lead generation and client pursuit. - Marketing Campaigns experience. - Excellent proven people management skills. - CIM qualification or other marketing qualifications are desirable About the Company Robert Walters is one of the world's largest specialist professional recruitment consultancies with 53 offices spanning 24 countries.
