Interior Designer

Interior Designer ROLE OVERVIEW:

The Interior Designer is to lead architectural design, organize and develop designs from concept design through to construction drawings and tender documentation, client liaison will also be necessary throughout the project.

You should be an experienced team worker and should be capable of producing design presentations with mood images, quality hand-drawn sketches and computer drawn 3D renders for client presentations. Focus on commercial office/F&B; designs and changing trends.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Have a flair for creating conceptual designs
• Be capable of producing quality 3D renderings to illustrate design ideas.
• Be aware of current trends in interior design, and be enthusiastic and passionate about design/architecture.
• Relevant recognized architectural qualification, BS Degree in Interior Design, Architecture & etc.
• Experience within a Design & Build contractor with Commercial office & F&B; experience is essential
• Should be energetic, pro-active and a natural creative individual
• Well organized creative individual with ability to “think outside the box”

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Project design from concept to completion
• Interpret client's needs and requirements and taking detailed design briefs
• Research on materials and products sourcing in accordance approved budgets
• Produce materials & mood boards for discussion
• Produce accurate construction drawings for issue to site
• Define project requirements and schedule for execution of projects
• Preparation of relevant design solutions for execution of project
• Report progress at weekly project meetings
