Department Definition
The Business Support function is responsible for all office management activities (including mail services, office space plan, disposal and recycling, catering, archiving, printing services, etc.), defining health and safety requirements and monitoring their implementation, ensuring physical security of the building, managing property and facilities, in addition to managing employee services (related to hotel and flight bookings) and supporting employees with individual requests.
Opportunity Responsibilities
The Inventory Officer is mainly responsible for receiving, storing, issuing goods, managing stock levels and distributing supplies.
Main responsibilities for this role include:
- Involved in preparing inventories, maintaining records and is accountable for linking supply invoices with purchase orders;
- Preparing the reports on adjustments done to inventories that might be damaged or spoilt;
- Maintain record of receipts as well as issuance of items that are going out of the warehouse;
- Ensure that goods have been correctly arranged within the stock location system;
- Undertake the function of stock-taking and confirm the periodic stock on a regular basis by working closely with the designated staff members;
- Prepare the weekly reports of all the activities in the warehouse, such as the consignment received, the quantity of items received, point of collection and dispatch.

Skills
Proven experience in leading and supervising an administration function as well as:
- Experience of conducting administrative and clerical activities;
- Fluent in Business English;
- Strong planning and organisation skills;
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
