Main Duties:
- FUNCTIONAL
- Prepare the PR and Communications strategy and set the yearly plan
- Identify and manage PR Agency, taking ownership over plan implantation on time and on budget.
- Establish and maintain a relation network with media, influence personalities and celebrities.
- Define and implement a reputation program with a CSR component attached to this
- Identify opportunities of communication, that generate media interest and coverage
- In close collaboration with the Head of PR and Communications, supervise community manager news and follow up on-line image (social networks, web, etc)
- Responsible for Crisis Communications management (24 h disposal in crisis case)
- Brief, monitor and supervise the social media for the destination
- Generating and sharing content daily that builds meaningful connections
- Building and executing social media strategy
- FINANCIAL (Expected & desirable for position level manager and above roles)
- Prepare and present inputs related to organizational/ departmental/ project budgets to the next reporting line.
- Manage and control the actual cost verses budget on periodic basis and provide financial reports/data related to the department/ divisional/ project’s financial performance.
- PROCESSES (Expected & desirable for position level manager and above roles)
- Develop and implement policies, procedures and processes for the respective function/department and ensure reviewing and keeping the existing ones updated as part of the continuous process improvement.
- Manage implementation of relevant electronic systems to bring efficiency and effectiveness existing processes.
- Set objectives/KPIs/Milestone for the respective department/function and conduct appraisals for direct reports on Electronic Performance Management System.
LEARNING & DEVELOPMENTS (Expected & desirable for position level manager and above roles)
- Ensure the team members are provided learning and career development opportunities by identifying successors within the team, preparing them for the next accountable role and recommending them for external trainings whenever required in consultation with HR Department.
- Ensure that productivity and service delivery of the department is improved on continuous basis by keeping team members motivated and retained.
- Any other duties as may be reasonably requested by the Management Team.
Are You a Star?
- In order to be qualified for this role you should possess the below criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Marketing or Communications
- 5 – 8 years of experience of demonstrate experience with expertise in PR management with knowledge of the media landscape in UAE. Native Arabic speaker and proficient level in English
