JOB PURPOSE
Define, implement and manage the marketing strategy in line with Corporate guidelines for the UAE within an assigned budget with the aim of maximizing exposure, elevating the brand and engaging with the local customer.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Strategy & Management
- Define UAE specific marketing strategies and action plans in line with corporate guidelines and in co-operation with the Senior Marketing and Communications Manager and regional team.
- Contribute to the development of the Business Plan for Middle East and other regional launches.
Media Activity
- Develop and manage UAE advertising activities with local agency and media partners.
- Partner with local media agency & corporate team on all elements including; planning, production, campaign management and reporting.
- Follow performance results and propose recommendations for further improvement and optimization every quarter.
- Help identify opportunities and develop proposals to maximize the brand visibility in different Media.
- Define and develop local digital marketing strategy, including Social Media and Media Partnerships.
- Develop bought media strategy across all campaigns, in close partnership with Middle East Marketing Coordinator and in line with Burberry's key strategic themes, business focus and target audience.
Events & Budget Control
- Responsible for planning and implementating local events, with the support of the regional and corporate teams.
- Ensure timely reporting of results from events and Compile monthly competitor reports.
- Ensure POs are tracked on an ongoing basis
- Manage supplier payments and invoicing for UAE Marketing activities
- Ensure Assigned Marketing budgets are strictly respected via monthly monitoring and reconciliation

Key Skills & Experience
- The successful candidate will have management experience in fashion marketing
- Middle East Market Knowledge & Experience is preferred.
- Exceptional communication & organisational skills
- Good and engaging listener
- Excellent attention to detail/follow up
- Interest and enthusiasm for marketing, branding, technology and digital communication
