Operational

• Observe good safe working practices at all times
• Install, repair and maintain water treatment equipment.
• Install, repair and maintain all plumbing installation (PVC, HPVC, PPR, PEX, UNIPIPE, STEEL, COPPER, etc.).
• Install, repair and maintain all kitchen and bathroom fixtures (sinks, bathtubs, toilets, mixers, water heaters, bottle traps, etc.)
• Test piping system and fixtures for leaks.
• Good understanding of water distribution system in commercial and industrial buildings.
• Review build plan and technical specification to determine lay out for plumbing related materials.
• Operating the assets in the best possible way to achieve maximum performance and minimum breakdown.
• Ensure preventive maintenance tasks are performed properly as per the PPM Check list, standard operating procedures and any O&M; manual recommendations.
• Ensure all assets and systems are operating as per the design or operational requirements.
• Ensure proper reactive maintenance in case of asset or system breakdown.
• Ensure to master all aspects of the system and assets under his responsibility.
• Ensure safe environment for all staffs and others.
• Ensure permit to work procedures are engaged
• Ensure job task paper work is completed correct, clearly and submitted in a timely manner
• Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment;
• Assist and support others when required for various jobs other than their own discipline
• Other duties as directed by his supervisor
• Able to use all plumbing working hand tools and machinery
• Maintain all tools and equipment issued to him

General

• To report to work within the requested time, prior to the commencement of duty, well-groomed and dressed to the uniform standard.
• To be fully aware of the department’s SOP’s and the fire evacuation procedures and to adhere to them at all times
• To attend staff and development meetings as well as other designated meetings
• To understand and strictly adhere to the Rules & Regulations established in the Employees Handbook and the Company and Project’s policy on Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.
• To maintain a good rapport and working relationship with staff including 3rd party suppliers
• To maintain maintenance records and shift-logs for all works carried out on shift.
• To be flexible regarding schedule and equipment changes.

Experience & Competencies:

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in UAE/GCC Countries
• English speaking ( to be able to hold technical conversation )
• Experience with a similar field
• Self-motivated with a hands-on and flexible approach and be able to adapt to unpredictable events.
• Able to foster good relations with colleagues and other departments and be a good team player.
• Flexibility, excellent attention to detail and ability to identify key issues.
• Able to work under stringent deadlines and high pressure environment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum ITI Certificate; Diploma preferred
